I am super excited to share this SUPERFOOD with y'all! I have been working on getting more protein and other essentials into my diet as I am just over being/getting sick.. so I am choosing to make healthier choices and help boost my immune system! I have never been a person that loves protein.. I never crave chicken, pork, fish and certainly not dark meat. However I am not a vegan or vegetarian, I just never really want to eat those types of things. I have to be honest and say I am a very picky eater. Which I totally think has contributed to my weekend immune system, at one point or another you have to think to yourself what can I do to fix this. I chose to try and get my protein a different way and it just so happens Taonutrition.com.au makes an amazing superfood protein mix that I can add to anything! As you other full-time students, mamas, nannies, working people know it is sometimes hard to get the time to "meal prep" I will just be honest the easiest way possible for me is to just make smoothies, it has the least amount of clean up, its fast and I can take it on the go. But I do mix it with cereal sometimes when I have more time! Today I am going to share with you my go to Tao smoothie :) Hope you like!
- I use organic almond milk 1/2 cup per scoop
- 1 small organic banana
- 1 full scoop of Tao Nutrition Vanilla Bean SuperFood protein
- Ice (I love mine to be like a thick smoothie!)
I then transfer my shake over to shaker & Im good to go!
